Memories in Pictures - Part 1

It's been a dreadful week and it's only Wednesday.

"Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life and when it comes, hold your head high, look it squarely in the eye and say, "I will be bigger than you. You cannot defeat me." -Ann Landers

You know it's really bad when I'm quoting Ann Landers :)

Over the years, I've kept various pictures that people have sent me. Some are from foster parents and some are from adopters - they aren't random pictures from the net. All of these cats were rescued from euthanasia at the shelter. These are cats that I have known and have been involved with their rescue and/or adoption. I found myself smiling as I scrolled through them.

I thought I'd share a few over the next few days - hope they make you smile too!

Are you smilin' yet?

More to come tomorrow...

Beth, this link was sent to me by a friend, it is a sad read, did you not used to work with a foster home in Niagara Falls, I remember her from adoptathons, is she still fostering ???http://stcatharines.kijiji.ca/c-pets-to-give-or-donate-Black-Persian-Cat-W0QQAdIdZ180857882

I'm smiling! Reading your blog inspired me to look back over the umpteen photos of kittens and cats that we've been privileged to help along the way to their forever homes.

Anonymous: That's a sad story about the Niagara Falls cat. Yes, I do know several people out that way. :(

Anonymous: Sorry! Which story? (Must be having a menopausal moment)

I loved these photos and they definitely brought a smile to my face - ESPECIALLY the one with the big round adorable dog with the small round adorable kitten! Thanks Beth, looking forward to "Part 2"!

I think anonymous was referring to the "Niagara Falls cat" story you mentioned in a previous comment!

Sorry to hear about your week so far... I can relate. I hope yours has started to look up! :S
