Things are going well on the home sales/buying front. We had our Home Inspection today and I scouted for litterbox locations. There were none. I can only imagine a poop & pee frenzy during that first week while we try to sort it all out. *sigh*

"Lily" after... Thank you....thank you all so much for everything you do to make it possible for these sweet cats to have a happy life. "See you" next week :)
I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a not-so-romantic getaway to B.C. to meet up with my hunk o'man who is playing in the Canadian Bridge Championships. (Yes, I married a geek.) My parents are flying in from Seattle and my daughter is coming up from California. It's going to be great fun.
Of course, my heart always frets about the cats in the shelter while I'm away.
I thought I'd leave you with some adorable "Before and After" pictures with hope that holds you over until I return:

Yep...one of lilly made me freakin' cry. I love these posts so much. SO MUCH!
I know this probably isn't the place to post this, but I have to ask.
Aside from taking the animals into my own home (I still live with my mother and she said we maxed out at 3 in terms of cats), can you suggest somewhere I can tell this woman to take this mom and kitten? I really don't want her to dump them at a shelter ...

I never knew David played bridge? Ask him if he'd like a game some time (our local bridge club has a resident cat, so he'll feel at home). I'm close to being a life master (just need a few more gold points).
Thank you Beth for such a wonderful post!!! They all look like completely different cats.. relaxed.. happy.. and loving life in their new homes! I think the picture of Bo sums it up best!
Thank you again.. It made my day!
Anonymous: I'm sorry! I've been out of town and the post isn't there anymore. :( :(
Steve: That's SOOOO cool! David and team came in 2nd in the Championships. He wasn't happy :)
Thank anyway, Beth. I actually contacted the people who had them and asked them what shelter they were taking the two cats to, and got this as a reply:
"Thank you for replying.
No Patches and Little Calico should have a new home. I am presently waiting for the new parents to come by.
Cheers"
Now I just have to hope that the family who would give them to a shelter if no one adopted them in time, screened the prospective new owners well. (rolls eyes)
Urk! I just saw this on Craigslist:

Hazel is the woman who replied to me about the calico kittens I mentioned a while ago. I only hope Hazel will give them to Lone Pines rather than some sketchy new owners ...
