I could die a happy woman if every day was a rescue day like this one. We managed to rescue 19 cats (one of them was an adoption). I still have kittens in my washroom waiting for foster parents to pick up, and a wonderful Kim H. who drove the remaining cats to Richmond Hill to their rescues. Thank you to all involved who made this rescue possible:
I was so excited to rescue Snoopy today! I only wish I could tell the elderly lady that was forced to leave him at the shelter that her boy is now safe and has a chance at life.
While at the shelter, I called another rescue and let them know that there was a VERY needy Mom and babies that needed help. "SURE, BETH! We can take them too!" Music to my ears!
Putting a rescue together of this size took a lot of amazing people who said, "Yes, I can Beth!" This is what it looked like as I was about to load everybody into my little car:
I'm going to be thinking about this rescue for a long time. A good nights sleep is coming my way! (At least until the vet bills come in!)

Beth, bless you for rescuing all those cats. I'm so happy for Snoopy, his story was so sad.
Incredible! Wonderful! Magnificent! Amazing!
Congratulations on a fantastic rescue day, and thanks to you and everyone else involved. Yay!

Wow Beth! Rob and I were grinning ear to ear reading today's blog and watching your videos. I am so thrilled you were able to rescue Snoopy!
What a FABULOUS post, Beth! I'm thrilled for everyone, and yes, especially poor Snoopy.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
you just made a very bad day so happy - I have been fretting about Snoopy since I saw his story.
Amazing!! You do wonderful work!! :)
so happy for you and snoopy and all the other kitties that were rescued today.
I was having a blah day after hurting my knees trying to get Shadow into his carrier to go to the vet. Now very happy & relieved.
Can the shelter contact the woman to let her know about Snoopy?
After the post yesterday I was hearing "hang on Snoopy, hang on", yes, I know it's Sloopy but c'mon. I'm so happy for Snoopy and all of the kitties that are now safe. And I'm a little happy/concerned/confused, here it is April and no kittens yet at our shelter. Either we've done a good job of educating or all the pregnant ones are staying in their own homes. I'm sure it will change soon, but for now I'll take it.~Donna
BETH:)
I had nightmares last nite leaving Grace and Kia behind...it broke my heart!!I drove home in tears wishing I could do more. *Happy tears* tonite ~ I am so truly grateful to you and your amazing foster homes:) Congratulations on an absolutely incredible very Special rescue day...I would love to know how little baby Kia makes out! I cannot thank you enough for sharing such a happy blog post...( I know my husband thanks you too!!)
Crystal: There were LOTS of people responsible for this rescue too. I was thrilled to rescue Kia - Kim told me that you had carried her around :(
This is so AWESOME!! Especially Snoopy. My human was losing sleep over him.
wow to hell with walmart shopping for cats is way more fun! You and your team did a wonderful job. So glad to see snoopy get out. I wish his old mum could be told he got saved! She would feel very relieved. Could the rescue send an anynomous card and the animal control could send it!
Of course as always I am happy for all of them being rescued but especially for Snoopy who touched my heart. I know how difficult it must have been for his older mom to give him up. Rock on Snoopy!!! God bless you, Beth!
Yay for Snoopy and all the others that got out, Beth, I really think you need a bigger car, like an SUV.
I too am so happy for little Snoopy. Thanks so much for doing this work.
